This medicine is prepared by modern pharmaceutical method in the form of extract-tablets according to the formula titled Ping Wei San composed in the
pharmacopoeia of Tai- Tai Pin Hui Min. Prescribed in the formula; the actions add uses of the herbal drugs are outlined as following: Atractylodes is used as an aromatic
stomachic carminative and diuretic it soothes gastro-nervus magnolia is employed as a germicidal with aperient laxative and stomachic actions, stops spasmodic
stomach-pain diarrhoea, and vomit citrus Eli accelerates action of digestive organs, and promotes appetite. Glycyrrhiza has action to protect mucous tissues of the digestive
organs and helps absorption of drug. This preparation is, therefore suitable for dyspepsia, loss of appetite, neuralgic stomach-pain and indeed a remedy for complaints of
intestinal disorders.
Dosage:
2 tablets 2 times daily to be taken with warm water.
